If you’re the sort of rider who likes to mix road cycling with a bit of gravel riding and maybe just riding around town or commuting by bike, then the new Kask Sintesi helmet may be for you. Kask says it has been designed to cater for a wide range of riding styles, while there are 11 colour options.

As with any helmet, Kask says safety and comfort were priorities when designing the new Sintesi.

Kask says the Sintesi will work as well for gravel riding and urban use as for road riding, making it a versatile option if you mix riding styles.

At £90/$120, the Sintesi is a budget helmet that features tech – such as antibacterial, antistatic Blue Tech padding – which has trickled down from Kask’s premium lids.

It features Kask’s Ergo Fit retention system for good adjustability and comfort, which Kask says helps keep the helmet stable even when riding over uneven ground.

The rounded shape is streamlined and is said to provide plenty of venting, with a wide vent across the brow and large forward-facing vents, which should ensure good airflow into the front of the helmet.

Kask has positioned the strap anchorage points inboard in the shell, so they’re less exposed to view. Kask has also included reflective detailing at the rear, above the large cradle adjustment wheel. This will increase your visibility when cycling at night or when the weather is poor.

Kask doesn’t use MIPS technology in its helmets, but it says that, like all its helmets, the Sintesi passes its own WG11 internal testing protocol to measure the helmet’s protection against rotational impacts.

The Kask Sintesi is available worldwide and in two sizes. Kask doesn’t offer a size small helmet, but it says the Sintesi has the adjustability required to fit head sizes from 52cm up to 62cm.
