The UK’s best-selling mountain bike magazine and leading bike brand have teamed up with suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) to run four Ride Together group rides in the UK this autumn.

The guided and supported rides will set off from highly-rated trail centres in Scotland, England and Wales, and all experience levels are welcome.

While riding solo can be great for mental health, riding with others can be better still, but it can be hard to find riding pals.

The idea behind the Ride Together events is to boost our mood by doing what we love with like-minded enthusiasts.

The Scotland rides will be held on 10 and 11 September at Tweed Valley Bikes in Glentress, but be quick because the group ride entry deadline is 11.59pm on Sunday 21 August! The skill level required will be intermediate on Saturday and intermediate + on Sunday.

The Forest of Dean is the location of the England ride at Pedalabikeaway trail centre on 16 October. The route will suit novices and the cut-off to register is 11.59pm on 18 September.

Llandegla Forest’s One Planet Adventure trail centre will host the Wales ride on 12 November for beginner level up to competent riders. The last chance to sign up is 11.59pm on 16 October.

If you’re among the lucky winners selected at random closer to the time of the ride, you’ll receive an email asking you to confirm your spot on the ride. There’s also the chance to register for the Ride Together email newsletters series full of mountain biking tips from MBUK, Nukeproof and CALM.
