The Vitesse borrows the fork from the Time T20<\/a>, which <\/span>Team France rode on the track at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Vitesse 895 costs half as much as the bike Look <\/span>designed specifically for the French national track cycling team.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The T20 is said to be lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamically efficient than its predecessor, the R96, resulting in a saving of nearly 30 watts at \u201cfull speed\u201d \u2013 or a bike length in a 200m sprint, according to Look.<\/span><\/p>\n The Vitesse\u2019s bottom bracket has a claimed stiffness of 205N\/mm to optimise power-transfer efficiency.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The bike features an integrated seat mast, which is topped with a reversible saddle cradle. This allows the fit to be customised by altering seatpost setback.<\/span><\/p>\n The top tube dips slightly before the cockpit, while the sides sweep inwards creating a triangular profile to slice through the air. The seat tube curves around the rear wheel in an attempt to further minimise drag.<\/span><\/p>\n The carbon stem comes in 18 sizes, ranging from 55mm to 140mm, so you can adjust to suit your preferred position and riding style.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While Look makes its own cranks, the brand says the frameset is compatible with any track crank.
