I\u2019ve managed to get out on some great rides this year, both through work and of my own volition.<\/p>\n

A highlight has got to be the Dirty Reiver<\/a>, which I rode with my colleagues Jack<\/a> and Robyn<\/a> back in September. This was a super-hard day out and I can\u2019t wait to do another big gravel race<\/a> in 2022.<\/p>\n

I also enjoyed a lovely cycle tour<\/a> with my sister back to our parents\u2019 house on Bodmin Moor in August. On both rides, I used at least one thing that has made its way into my Gear of the Year<\/a> round-up, and that defines the overall theme for my picks \u2013 products that made the long-distance riding I enjoy most safer, easier and more enjoyable.<\/p>\n
