The original Jari gravel bike<\/a> from Fuji was typical of the brand. It was great value, well put together and hit all the right notes when it came to practicality. <\/span><\/p>\n

The new Jari, spotted at Eurobike 2022<\/a>, shakes things up with a host of features that should appeal to fans of gravel racing<\/a>, bikepacking<\/a> and long-distance adventures.<\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly, the frame is a radical departure, with its new aero-profiled tubing and super-dropped seatstays.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s also an elongated bottom bracket section designed to take a new under-BB storage box and, in turn, make plenty of room for frame bags (because it allows the bottle cage bosses to be mounted lower).<\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, storage is a key theme with the new Fuji Jari. On the top tube, Fuji has fitted a soft rubber section complete with elasticated mini-bungees to strap in your favourite snacks.<\/span><\/p>\n

The D-shaped seatpost has a cutaway in its mid-section, with an elastomer section bonded to allow for more cushioning, according to Fuji. It\u2019s an idea we\u2019ve seen from <\/span>Merida on the S-Flex post of the Reacto<\/span><\/a> aero road bike.<\/span><\/p>\n

The D-shaped seatpost has a squishy section to improve comfort. The clamp has an adaptor to accept a 27.2mm dropper post.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/div>\n

Elsewhere on the seatpost, Fuji has used an adaptor for the D-shaped clamp, to allow the Jari to run a standard 27.2mm design and, therefore, a <\/span>dropper post<\/span><\/a>. It\u2019s a design similar to that on the <\/span>2022 Bike of the Year-winning Giant Revolt<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Up front, the new Jari\u2019s cables have been integrated by adopting FSA\u2019s ACR stem and headset system. <\/span><\/p>\n

There is also an all-new fork design, which brings adjustable offset, much in the same way as <\/span>Rondo\u2019s HVRT<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>GT\u2019s Grade Carbon<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are numerous fixtures and fittings too, with fender\/mudguard mounts front and rear, \u2018anything\u2019 mounts on the fork, the under-BB storage box, bottle bosses, dropper-post routing and even internal routing for a <\/span>dynamo<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The range consists of the flagship Fuji Jari Carbon 1.1 with Shimano GRX810 and WTB Speedterra i25 tubeless wheels (price TBC).<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s also the Jari Carbon 1.3 at \u20ac2,999 (UK and US prices TBC), which shares the same carbon frame and fork, but with Shimano GRX400 and Alex Boondocks 5 wheels.<\/span><\/p><\/body><\/html>\n
