The ENVE Melee is the brand\u2019s new road race bike<\/a>, and the second bike it has released.<\/p>\n

While the design of last year\u2019s Custom Road<\/a> was, as the name suggests, focused on allowing customers to configure the bike to their specific needs, the Melee is \u201cpurpose-built for speed\u201d, and will be available in a more typical range of seven sizes.<\/p>\n

Unlike the brand\u2019s debut US-made Custom Road bike, the Melee uses a monocoque construction technique and is built overseas.<\/p>\n

A chassis kit \u2013 which includes a stem, seatpost, handlebar, headset and frameset \u2013 costs \u00a35,300 \/ $5,500 \/ \u20ac5,500. Complete builds will not be offered by ENVE.<\/p>\n
