The Ridgeback Errand is an electric bike with 20in wheels, a frame-mounted front rack and rear rack mounts to take panniers.<\/p>\n

The Errand is powered by a Promovec hub drive system, which delivers 54Nm torque. The drive system settings can be adjusted in the Promovec smartphone app.<\/p>\n

The 375Wh Promovec battery sits on the downtube and also runs the integrated AXA front and rear lights<\/a>. The range was not available at the time of writing.<\/p>\n

The Errand has an eight-speed Microshift drivetrain comprising a single 44T Prowheel chainring, 170mm crank and Sunrace CSM55 11-32 eight-speed cassette.<\/p>\n

Clarks supplies the Clout-1 hydraulic discs and brake levers.<\/p>\n

Ridgeback specs the Errand with Mach1 650 28h wheels and 20 x 2in Schwalbe Big Apple tyres.<\/p>\n

Billed as the \u201cultimate utility bike for urban riding\u201d, the Ridgeback Errand comes with mudguards<\/a>, a mainstay of the best bikes for commuting<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rear mounts will allow you to fit another rack to carry panniers if you cycle to work<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite not being a folding bike<\/a>, which can have as small as 16in wheels, Ridgeback says the Errand has 20in wheels for \u201cmaximum manoeuvrability\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ridgeback claims the Errand\u2019s single frame size fits riders from 5\u20194\u201d to 6\u20194\u201d tall.<\/p>\n
