The year ahead is set to be a massive one for SRAM<\/a> on the road and gravel front, and we\u2019re not surprised.<\/p>\n

With Shimano<\/a> launching 105 Di2<\/a>\u00a0in 2022, the ball is back in SRAM\u2019s court in the ongoing tussle between these two road groupset<\/a> titans.<\/p>\n

While SRAM was the first to drop an electronic groupset<\/a> down to the third tier, with the launch of Rival eTap AXS in 2021<\/a>, at the top-end, Red eTap AXS<\/a> hasn\u2019t been updated since 2019 and, in some areas, is looking a bit long in the tooth.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, small changes would improve the usability and aesthetics of the brand\u2019s groupsets.<\/p>\n

Here, we outline the BikeRadar team\u2019s road and gravel tech wishlist from SRAM for 2023.<\/p>\n
