Refreshed levers designed to match new T-Type Eagle groupset <\/p>

SRAM has released new Stealth levers for its Level and Code brakes, featuring an updated design.<\/p>\n

The new levers are available on selected Level and Code brakes, and are being released alongside SRAM\u2019s new T-Type Eagle Transmission groupset<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The refreshed design routes the hose closer to the handlebar, which is intended to create a sleeker-looking cockpit.<\/p>\n

SRAM\u2019s Stealth levers are available now. The Level Stealth brakes start at \u00a3200 \/ $185 \/ \u20ac220 and the Code Stealth brakes are priced from \u00a3320 \/ $300 \/ \u20ac360, excluding rotors.<\/p>\n

SRAM says it has routed the cable closer to the bar in order to clean it up and match the aesthetics of the new T-Type Eagle Transmission.<\/p>\n

To further aid in this sleek look, the brand is supplying stem clips to ensure the hoses run along the handlebar.<\/p>\n

The new lever design is intended to add another hand position to the bars, enabling riders to assume a tucked position with a more reassuring hold of the brake compared to the previous levers, which flared outwards.<\/p>\n

While the caliper and internals remain the same as SRAM\u2019s previous mountain bike brakes<\/a>, SRAM has changed how it names its spec levels. The base-spec R has been replaced with the Bronze, and the mid-level RSC has been replaced with Silver.<\/p>\n

At the moment, it appears the brand is only releasing Silver and Ultimate Stealth models \u2013 but we can expect Bronze to follow in the future.<\/p>\n

SRAM\u2019s top-end Code brakes are available for the first time in an Ultimate spec level and feature titanium accents and hardware.<\/p>\n

The Code Stealth brakes retain SRAM\u2019s SwingLink cam to actuate the plunger of the brake lever. They also include tool-free reach and contact adjustment, which should help you to find your preferred setup while out on the trails.<\/p>\n

The Level Stealth brakes are available in Silver and Ultimate spec levels. The Level Ultimate features a carbon brake lever blade and titanium hardware.<\/p>\n

Available with two or four pistons, the Level Stealth also features tool-free reach adjust and is the lightest model in the SRAM range.<\/p>\n

All Stealth levers continue to be ambidextrous, enabling you to swap your levers from one side of the handlebar to the other if you prefer to ride a \u2018moto\u2019 or \u2018euro\u2019 setup.<\/p>\n

You might be able to fit the new Stealth levers to older SRAM brakes, due to matching internals and the same Stealth-a-Majig hose barb, olive and compression fittings. However, SRAM doesn\u2019t provide a lever-only option at this time.<\/p>\n
