Versatile helmet covers trail, enduro and downhill riders with interchangeable protection <\/p>

Leatt has released its new 3.0 Enduro Helmet, which it says is the most versatile helmet on the market, combining three types of lid in one.<\/p>\n

The new enduro helmet<\/a> can be worn in three different guises; open face, full face and \u2018jet style\u2019 \u2013 which features over-the-ear protectors.<\/p>\n

The 3.0 Enduro Helmet is priced at \u00a3249.99\/$289\/\u20ac269.99 and vailable in \u2018pine\u2019, \u2018titanium\u2019, white and \u2018stealth\u2019 colourways.<\/p>\n

Leatt says the helmet is available now through its dealership network.<\/p>\n

Leatt says it wanted to provide a variety of protection options with the 3.0 Enduro Helmet, giving riders an adaptable mountain bike helmet<\/a> for trail, enduro and downhill riding.<\/p>\n

The chin bar, which turns the helmet into a full-face design, is certified to the ASTM F1952\u201310 standard, which means the American Society for Testing and Materials rates the helmet for downhill usage.<\/p>\n

Leatt claims the helmet weighs 690g for a size small, including the chin bar.<\/p>\n

The PowerBridge runs across the top of the helmet and is said to aid in shock absorption.<\/span><\/figcaption> Leatt<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n

The brand says the light weight is thanks to the polymer shell, which features a PowerBridge construction that sees reinforcement added across the top of the helmet for additional shock absorption.<\/p>\n

The helmet can be converted by pushing a button on the side, which enables the chin bar or ear covers to be removed or added.<\/p>\n

The ear protectors add to the side of the helmet and offer more protection than the open-face setting.<\/span><\/figcaption> Leatt<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n

Leatt\u2019s 360\u00baTurbine technology enables the inner of the helmet to rotate on impact.<\/p>\n

The brand claims this reduces peak brain acceleration by up to 30 per cent at impact speeds associated with concussion.<\/p>\n

The system is similar to Multi-directional Impact Protection, or MIPS<\/a>, which uses a similar approach, where the liner is allowed to move within the helmet for shock absorption.<\/p>\n

Fidlock uses magnets in the buckle to assist with fastening.<\/span><\/figcaption> Leatt<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n

The 3.0 Enduro Helmet has 20 vents and an anti-odour washable lining, which Leatt says keeps the helmet cool at slow speeds and smelling fresh.<\/p>\n

The vents on the rear of the helmet also double up as a glasses holder for when the sun goes in.<\/p>\n

A Fidlock buckle is used to fasten the helmet, and is available in three sizes; small, medium and large, spanning 51cm to 63mm head circumferences.<\/p>
