New model launched in response to customer requests for a more upright riding position, according to Belgian brand <\/p>

Cowboy has released the Cruiser electric bike, which puts riders in a more upright position for urban excursions.<\/p>\n

The Belgian brand says its customers wanted a Dutch-style ebike in order to straighten their posture and see further down the road.<\/p>\n

Cowboy\u2019s stable of electric bikes<\/a> also includes the flat-barred Classic and step-through C4 ST.<\/p>\n

However, the brand says the Cruiser\u2019s raised and curved handlebar offers an even more relaxed ride position.<\/p>\n

Available in black or sand colours, the Cowboy Cruiser costs \u00a32,690\/\u20ac2,990. US pricing is to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

The Cruiser is specced with a wider saddle that has a larger seating surface for increased comfort, according to Cowboy.<\/p>\n

The electric hybrid bike<\/a> has a claimed weight of 19.3kg and rolls on 47mm Cowboy tyres.<\/p>\n

Integrated front and rear bike lights<\/a>, hydraulic disc brakes and mudguards<\/a> are included too.<\/p>\n

Cowboy says it has increased the gear range of the Cruiser\u2019s Gates carbon belt-drive transmission system to enable riders to spin at a higher cadence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Cruiser\u2019s removable battery has a range of 40 to 80km. The 45Nm\/250W motor is integrated into the rear wheel.<\/p>\n

Cowboy says the one-size aluminium frame is designed to fit riders from 170 to 195cm tall.<\/p>\n

A wireless charging dock on the handlebars can hold your mobile phone, allowing constant access to the Cowboy app, according to the brand.<\/p>\n

You can unlock the Cruiser\u2019s electric bike motor<\/a> with your phone and receive theft alerts if someone tries to steal it.<\/p>\n

Cowboy says its app<\/a> gives turn-by-turn directions thanks to its integration with Google Maps.<\/p>\n

Its software also has crash detection and theft protection features, as well as AdaptivePower, which Cowboy says adjusts power delivery to help you maintain a constant speed.<\/p> <\/body><\/html>\n
