Winter brings off-puttingly wet weather, grimly gloomy hilltops, treacherous trails, the necessity of night riding, tediously time-consuming post-ride clean-ups and more.\u00a0<\/p>

But none of this should be a barrier to your year-round enjoyment of cycling \u2013 with appropriate preparation and kit, inclement conditions offer new challenges, intrigue and purpose to your riding.\u00a0<\/p>

With that in mind, this week we\u2019re celebrating all things off-season with Winter Cycling Week on BikeRadar.<\/p>

Over the next seven days, we\u2019ll bring you practical advice on making winter riding fun<\/a>, training tips<\/a> to make the most of your time on the bike, winter cycling hacks<\/a> and upgrades<\/a>, and buying advice for the best cycling kit for foul weather<\/a>.<\/p>

While winter officially ends on 20 March in the Northern Hemisphere, at least here in the UK, winter-like conditions continue well into the spring (and into the summer if we\u2019re unlucky\u2026).\u00a0<\/p>

As such, much of the advice can be applied to your year-round cycling. Who knows when you\u2019ll be glad to have learned sandwich bags are a life-saver<\/a> if you suffer from cold feet?\u00a0<\/p> <\/body><\/html>\n
