this update, Sonder is treating the Evol to a brand-new frameset.

Like the previous Evol, the frameset uses 6061 aluminium, which Sonder says will withstand “demanding conditions and terrains”.

The brand, paired with Alpkit and sharing its B-Corp certification, says the frame uses a durable construction, making it a reliable choice for all-mountain and UDH dropout, bringing the Evol right up to date and allowing for compatibility with SRAM T-Type derailleurs.

Elsewhere, the bike has 160mm of suspension travel delivered by a Horst-link design.

The Horst-link suspension is said to give you more control over the bike’s anti-squat throughout its travel, as well as improved reactivity when squeezing the brakes.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1600" height="1067"
