The medals for the 2024 RHS Chelsea Flower Show have been announced
The medals for this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show have been announced, with golds for four Show Gardens, two Sanctuary Gardens, three All About Plants Gardens and four Balcony and Container Gardens.

The Chelsea Flower Show opened its doors to the public today, just as the medals were awarded to the gardens and designers.
Four Show Gardens on Main Avenue were awarded Gold, including Tom Massey and Je Ahn’s WaterAid Garden, while Tom Stuart-Smith‘s garden for the National Garden Scheme was also recognised with Gold. Ula Maria’s garden for Muscular Dystrophy UK and the St James’s Piccadilly Imagine the World to be Different designed by Robert Myers also received Gold.
On winning Gold, Tom Stuart-Smith said: “The materials you’re working with are so extraordinary that it’s really nature and plants that ought to be congratulated.”
In the Sanctuary Gardens category the World Child Cancer Nurturing Garden and the Burma Skincare Initiative Spirit of Partnership Garden won Gold.
