As designer Jinny Blom has explained in her piece on HM King Charles III for Gardens Illustrated, our new king has always loved gardens. His private home at Highgrove, which he bought in 1980, has extensive gardens and has been an important part of his life. But he has also visited and engaged with gardens throughout the world.
We have drawn together some favourite shots of HM King Charles III enjoying gardens throughout his life, from spending time in gardens at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, to time in Japan, Brazil, Wales and many more.
