Just Stop Oil protesters have thrown orange paint on a show garden at the Chelsea Flower Show and urged people to stop ‘putting their heads in the compost’
Three campaigners from Just Stop Oil have staged a protest at RHS Chelsea Flower Show today, calling for people to stop ignoring the increasing environmental crisis.
Three protester stepped over the rope onto Paul Hervey Brooke‘s garden for Brewin Dolphin, spraying orange paint over it and shouting for people to ‘act’ at 9am this morning.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.

In an instagram film of the protest, the campaigners can be heard saying: “We need to do something, we must act and stop all new oil and gas otherwise we will have no future…Bug hotels will not save us…stop putting your heads in the compost.”
The protest is the latest in a series of #JSO protests which calls for an end to new fossil fuel projects.
The Chelsea Flower Show began this year on Tuesday and runs to Saturday 27 May.
