The Royal Horticultural Society has announced the winner of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year.
Out of 20 shortlisted plants, the winning plant is × Semponium ‘Destiny’ from Surreal Succulents, with second place going to Armeria pseudarmeria ‘Dreamland’ (Dreameria Series) from Stonebarn Landscapes and third place to Salvia Pink Amistad (‘Arggr17-011’) from Middleton Nurseries Ltd.
The competition is run each year to celebrate the work of breeders and nurseries in developing and growing new plants. The winners were selected by a panel of over 100 plant experts.
You can see the winning plants and all the finalists in the Great Pavilion at RHS Chelsea Flower Show from 24 to 28 May.
