Winners have been announced for the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition 2024. See all of the winning images below. <\/p>

Winners of the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition 17, for 2024, have been announced, with June Sharpe taking the Overall Winner spot for her photo entitled ‘Birdscape’ from the 7IM Abstract Views category. <\/p>

The head judge of the competition, Tyrone McGlinchey, said of the image “There is an abundance of interest and depth which fires the imagination. The soft, new growth transforming between plant and feathers \u2013 it is both enticing and enchanting.”<\/p>

June Sharpe said “Now, more than ever, it is vitally important to connect with nature and highlight the beauty and fragility of our planet\u2019s ecosystems. Being awarded the title of Overall Winner is an enormous and totally unexpected privilege.”<\/p>

June will receive \u00a34,000 and the photo will feature in the IGPOTY 17 exhibition at Kew Gardens<\/a>, which is planned to open on 3 February. <\/p>
