Designed to replace St James\u2019s Drop-in and Counselling Service caravan, this cabin offers a destination of hope and wellbeing in the garden. \u201cI got excited by the idea of pocket parks \u2013 richly planted, important, regenerative and restorative green spaces that can offer a new sort of identity \u2013 that\u2019s really relevant to our narrative here,\u201d says Robert. <\/p>
5 key elements<\/h2>
1. Counselling cabin<\/strong> Designed by installation artist Ivan Morison (peakmorison.org<\/a>) as an enclosed, safe space, it\u2019s made of oak<\/a> and chestnut for a sense of warmth and softness and will be relocated to St James\u2019s after the show. <\/p>
2. Wall plaques and engraved stones<\/strong> will bring to light some of the key historic free thinkers associated with St James\u2019s including poet William Blake, abolitionist Quobna Ottobah Cugoano, and botanical artist Mary Delany. <\/p>

3. Resilient trees<\/strong> were chosen to withstand the harsh urban environment as well as taking climate<\/a> resilience into account, including Ginkgo biloba<\/em>, Koelreuteria paniculata<\/em> and Trachycarpus fortunei<\/em>. <\/p>
4. Church window<\/strong> The large, arched window in the garden\u2019s boundary wall echoes the distinctive windows of Christopher Wren\u2019s 1684 church. <\/p>
5. Plant-covered walls<\/strong> including the unusual climber<\/a> Stauntonia latifolia<\/em>, the sausage vine, with its glossy, evergreen leaves, clusters of flowers and sausage-like fruits, perfectly suited to the sheltered location of the churchyard.<\/p>
