When is the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022?<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s official. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022 will be returning to May \u2013 from the 24th to the 28th May \u2013 in 2022, back to its usual spring slot after its September diversion for 2021. Tickets are on sale now<\/a> to RHS Members, ahead of the public release on Monday 18 October.<\/p>\n

All in all, great news for garden lovers everywhere.<\/p>\n

More surprising is the news that the headline sponsor for the show will be [drum roll\u2026] The Newt , the garden estate, hotel, restaurant, spa and more, in Somerset.<\/p>\n

And the deal is sealed with The Newt to sponsor the show for the next four years \u2013 so expect to see a Newt\/Chelsea partnership right through to 2025 at least.<\/p>\n

The team at The Newt are no strangers to perfect gardens<\/span><\/figcaption><\/div>\n

After years of corporate sponsorship (i.e. the preceding eight events being presented via savings and investment giants M&G) The Newt is a surprising but wholly comfortable fit.<\/p>\n

The garden estate owned by South African businessman Koos Bekker and his wife Karen Roos \u2013 who bought the Grade I-Iisted 17th-century house set on the Emily Estate from the Hobhouse family in 2013 \u2013 has undergone multi-million pound makeovers to buildings and grounds to become a world class, gardening, sustainable agriculture and artisan production hotspot.<\/p>\n

Having their brand atop the most prestigious gardening event in the world would appear to be the icing on their particularly delicious cake.<\/p>\n

The Newt has already been offering packages to whisk guests at their hotel to the show and back in abject luxury so their Chelsea synergy is already strong. Expect similar, even more seamlessly implemented offers and packages from their team-up on the way.<\/p>\n

The first of which being that The Newt has become an RHS Partner Garden as part of the deal and as such will be giving RHS members free access to the historic gardens during RHS Chelsea Flower Show week.<\/p>\n

RHS members can now also wander The Newt\u2019s gardens for free during Chelsea week.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/div>\n

However \u2013 in a break from tradition \u2013 there are no plans for the team at The Newt to create a Show Garden at the show itself. But future Chelseas? Who knows.<\/p>\n
