Budock Vean Hotel is an award-winning four-star hotel set in 65 acres of glorious gardens and woodland, above the tranquil Helford River in south Cornwall. Based on the site of a medieval manor house, this historic place has been welcoming guests since the 1930s and famous visitors include the likes of Virginia Woolf, who fell in love with the unspoilt coves that line the river below.
The hotel includes a restaurant renowned for its delicious food and first-class service, as well as a spa, swimming pool and outdoor hot tub, golf course, croquet lawn, snooker room and tennis courts on site, plus boating, kayaking and paddle-boarding from the private cove.
One winner will enjoy a two-night break for two* in a Signature room with full Cornish breakfast each morning, a four-course dinner each evening, and full use of the golf and leisure facilities. The prize also includes a one-and-a-half-hour river cruise, courtesy of Helford River Cruises, and tickets to Glendurgan Garden (National Trust) and Trebah Garden.
*Prize based on two sharing a double/twin Signature room, valid for 12 months from the nomination of the winner, excluding the hotel’s in-house special interest breaks, Christmas, New Year and Easter, and subject to all elements of the prize being permissible under government Covid-19 restrictions in force at the time of stay. The hotel reserves the right to offer reasonable alternatives if necessary. Winner and guest must be over 18. See below for full terms and conditions. Cruise is tide dependent, so will be at a fixed time during the winner’s stay.
