This summer, one of the UK\u2019s favourite shows will be back on the road, filming at some of the country\u2019s best known locations. Series 45 of the Antiques Roadshow will be filmed at seven different places, and for the first time, viewers will be able to apply for free tickets<\/a> to attend.<\/p>\n

Filming for the new series will begin in June, Wollaton Hall in Nottingham being the first iconic location the experts head to. \u2018I can\u2019t wait to start filming the new series of the Antiques Roadshow. We\u2019re going to some exciting new locations, and most exciting of all \u2013 we will be getting our crowds back \u2013 Covid permitting. It\u2019s only been two years, but it feels like such a long time since we\u2019ve done that. You\u2019ll need a ticket to come along, so take a look at our website to find out how to apply. It\u2019s completely free, and we can\u2019t wait to see you\u2019 says presenter Fiona Bruce, as she gets ready for her 15th series on the show.<\/p>\n

The pandemic led to many changes in the way the Antiques Roadshow was filmed, but everyone involved in creating the show is excited to welcome back some of the pre-covid elements. \u2018We\u2019re really looking forward to getting back to the essence of the Roadshow \u2013 assembling a crack team of antiques experts in a beautiful location and welcoming visitors with their cherished objects and mystery items. The Roadshow is for everyone, and we want to see the things that mean something to you \u2013 last year, we had everything from rare toys and vintage clothes to paintings by modern Indian artists and medals that revealed moving stories of heroism and sacrifice. We\u2019ve missed those thrilling moments when a priceless treasure emerges from the bottom of a shopping bag\u2019 says Robert Murphy, the Antiques Roadshow Series Editor.<\/p>\n
