We had a marvellous time at the Malverns Classic, meeting some of you and soaking up the atmosphere. Julia, Luke and Karen did sterling work on our stand \u2013 and we\u2019ll have some leftover merch up for sale online soon. He\u2019s too humble to blow his own trumpet, but Will represented us in fine style in the racing, too, placing second in the DH and dual slalom, and acquitting himself well in the whip-off, too. Hopefully see you there next year! <\/p>\n\n

While we never had the privilege of meeting Rab Wardell in person, he appeared in the mag several times and always came across as a passionate and talented rider and great guy, so we were gutted to hear of his death. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

It\u2019s great to see young UK racing talent rising up through the ranks. Congratulations to Jordan Williams for his Junior World Champs win and three World Cup victories this season \u2013 a tally equalled (save for the rainbow stripes) by Phoebe Gale in the women\u2019s field. <\/p>\n\n

Red Bull\u2019s World Cup finals coverage was the end of an era. We\u2019ll miss Rob Warner and the crew, as the broadcast rights for the series pass to Discovery Sports (owner of GMBN). Let\u2019s just hope World Cups remain free to watch… <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Speaking of Red Bull, Hardline was a blast (well done, Jackson Goldstone!) and we\u2019re already getting stoked for Rampage on 23 October. It\u2019s a shame there are no UK riders on the start list (or any women), but we\u2019re sure it\u2019s going to go off, as usual! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
