This Black Friday. is shaping up to be a good one for gamers, as we’ve already started to see some incredibly tempting deals on the Xbox Series S in the UK.

Already the cheapest next-gen console on the market, the Xbox Series S has a recommended retail price of £249.99, but now we’ve seen prices plummeting thanks to the 2022 Black Friday deals season.

Here at RadioTimes.com, we’ve been using the Xbox Series S for a while now, and we’ve got nothing but good things to say about it. Smaller, lighter and easier on the eye than the other current consoles, the Series S is a brilliant way to get involved with gaming in 2022.

The Series S can play all the same games as the more expensive Xbox Series X. And although it can’t hit 4K visuals (instead topping out at 1440p), it has the same SSD storage as its big brother, meaning you’ll still see speedy loading times. Sounds good, right? Read on to learn more about the Black Friday deals on this snazzy little console!

Where are the Xbox Series S deals this Black Friday in the UK?

Today the Xbox Series S deals have started flowing in. Amazon is selling the popular console for £189 and Very seems to have matched that deal.

And we think as Black Friday itself arrives, we may see even more tempting discounts on the console. But why is that?

Firstly, the Xbox Series X and PS5 both continue to be in short supply. Stock is scarce and discounts are even scarcer as a result. The Nintendo Switch is similar, although we have found some deals on the Nintendo Switch Lite and Switch OLED already, but these appeal to a slightly different audience than the PlayStation and Xbox equivalents.

That leaves the Xbox Series S. It’s an up-to-date device that offers the latest games in a traditional console set-up, but it’s in stock! As a result, retailers wanting to attract gamers to their sales may see fit to cut the price down, at least a little.

Looking for more console deals? OnBuy were the first to offer Nintendo Switch deals but aren’t currently offering a good price on the Xbox Series S.

Otherwise, be sure to check back in here in a few days. We’ll be updating this page with the latest Xbox Series S deals as and when they become available.
