Fabien Galthie has made one change to his France line-up from the one defeated by Ireland last time out in the Six Nations.
Uini Atonio is suspended following a dangerous tackle in the 32-19 Dublin defeat with Mohamed Haouas to fill his slot in the XV.
This is an all-important showdown for both teams. If France lose, they are effectively out of the running to defend their title. If Scotland lose, they must pick up a result against Ireland in Round 4 to tear the competition wide open.
