Did episode 1,054’s delay have a knock-on effect for the rest of the series?

One Piece has dominated the anime world, the silver screen and the high seas since 1999 and show’s no sign of throwing down its anchor. It’s one of the longest running shows ever primarily due to its incredibly flesh out characters, arcs, and zany chaos.

Boasting well over 1,000 episodes, the current arc follows Sanji’s ongoing battle with Queen. After a blip in the schedule forced episode 1,054 to be temporarily halted, fans were concerned as to whether or not it will have a knock on effect for the rest of the series.

Luckily for us, everything’s smooth sailing from here on out with Luffy back on track for his expected release dates.

Fans of the pirate master won’t have long to wait until the next instalment as it drops at the end of the week.

That means One Piece episode 1,055 will be made available to stream internationally via Crunchyroll at the following times:

  • Pacific Time – 6pm on Saturday 18th March
  • Eastern Time – 9pm on Saturday 18th March
  • UK Time – 2am on Sunday 19th March
  • European Time – 3am  on Sunday 19th March
  • India Time – 7:30am on Sunday 19th March
  • Philippine Time – 10am  on Sunday 19th March
  • Australia Eastern Daylight Time – 1pm on Sunday 19th March
