Did episode 1,054’s delay have a knock-on effect for the rest of the series?
One Piece has dominated the anime world, the silver screen and the high seas since 1999 and show’s no sign of throwing down its anchor. It’s one of the longest running shows ever primarily due to its incredibly flesh out characters, arcs, and zany chaos.
Boasting well over 1,000 episodes, the current arc follows Sanji’s ongoing battle with Queen. After a blip in the schedule forced episode 1,054 to be temporarily halted, fans were concerned as to whether or not it will have a knock on effect for the rest of the series.
Luckily for us, everything’s smooth sailing from here on out with Luffy back on track for his expected release dates.
