Liverpool are running out of time to close the gap on the top four but will fancy their chances of returning to winning ways against Leeds United on Monday evening.

The Reds were back near to their swashbuckling best in the second half against Arsenal but the 2-2 draw leaves them 12 points behind fourth-place Man Utd, which is not an unassailable lead in the nine games remaining but will start to look that way soon.

They know not to underestimate the Elland Road outfit, who beat them 2-1 at Anfield back in October, but they will be licking their lips after Saturday’s implosion against Crystal Palace.

Leeds were 1-0 up at halftime but conceded five against the Eagles, formerly one of the lowest scorers in the league, and now face the prospect of hosting Mo Salah and co.

If Javi Gracia is not able to rally his troops it could be a long evening in West Yorkshire for the home support.
