Lionel Messi has scored 10 goals in seven appearances for Inter Miami this season.
All of those came in the Leagues Cup, with the 36-year-old scoring in every game he played – including the final against Nashville, as he secured his first piece of silverware in the US.
Messi is set to make his MLS debut on Sunday when Inter Miami play New York Red Bulls. It would not be a surprise to see him open his account in the MLS and continue his recent scoring streak in that game as the competition gets going again after a mid-season pause.

Lionel Messi has scored 103 goals in 175 appearances for Argentina since making his debut in 2005.
That puts him miles clear as his country’s all-time leading scorer – with Gabriel Batistuta (56 goals in 78 games) in second.
Messi could still add to that tally as he remains the Argentina captain, though he has suggested he may not make it to another major tournament.
