A crunch clash in the race for automatic promotion from League One means the New Year should start with a bang at Pride Park.

Derby County finished 2023 as one of the form teams in the division and an impressive nine-game unbeaten run on home soil has enhanced their hopes of returning to the second tier of English football.

A strong set of results in November and December, including wins in their last two away games, means Peterborough are also motoring along in their quest to climb back into the Championship at the second time of asking.

It is hardly surprising that the match has been selected for live television coverage as Derby ran out 4-2 winners in this season’s reverse fixture last August.

Martyn Waghorn bagged a hat-trick in the thumping victory at London Road, although the Rams forward is set to miss out on repeating the feat as he has been absent most of the last two months through injury.

RadioTimes.com has rounded up everything you need to know about how to watch Derby v Peterborough on TV and online.
