Derby County travel to Fleetwood Town in League One on Saturday afternoon, with both sides in desperate need of three points for different reasons.

The Rams are fourth in the table and a win could take them up to third, depending on the goal difference, and to within four points of league leaders Portsmouth.

Derby come into the Fleetwood clash on the back of their frustrating 3-2 defeat against promotion rivals Peterborough on New Year’s Day, with Posh netting a 94th minute winner at Pride Park.

While Derby are looking to gain promotion to the Championship, Fleetwood are battling to stay afloat in League One.

Charlie Adam has just replaced Lee Johnson, but Fleetwood are bottom of the table and five points off 21st.

Adam lost his first match in charge at Shrewsbury, and he’ll be desperate for a better result against Derby.
