QPR will be hoping to escape the Championship drop zone when they welcome relegation rivals Huddersfield Town to Loftus Road this weekend.

The Hoops, three points and one place behind the Terriers in the table, will need to secure victory on home soil if they are to clamber above their opposition on goal difference.

Martí Cifuentes was getting a tune out of QPR after succeeding Gareth Ainsworth at the end of October before a seven-game winless streak, which was ended by last Saturday’s much-needed home success against London rivals Millwall.

Huddersfield are also on their second manager of the season after Darren Moore replaced Neil Warnock in September, although a return of five wins from 28 games – the second worst in the league – explains their failure to escape the relegation scrap.

Last October’s reverse fixture was one of the rare occasions the Terriers’ claimed all three points, with Kian Harratt and Jack Rudoni netting before Jake Clarke-Salter’s consolation.
