Legendary singer-songwriter and nine-time Grammy Award winner Joni Mitchell is set to make her debut Grammy Awards performance at this year’s ceremony.

The news was announced on 29th January, with Mitchell set to take to the stage during the ceremony on 4th February 2024.

As well as winning nine Grammys, Mitchell was also presented with a lifetime achievement award in 2002, and has been nominated 18 times.

Mitchell, who is now 80 years old, suffered a brain aneurysm rupture in 2015, and only returned to performing live for the first time since in 2022.

In June 2023, she played her first headline show in more than 20 years.
