Wolves welcome Manchester United to Molineux knowing they can leapfrog their opponents in the Premier League table if they emerge victorious.

Gary O’Neil’s outfit sit three points behind the Red Devils but boast a superior goal difference, and they will be eager to secure another big scalp on their own patch after beating Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur at home this term.

Wolves, who are unbeaten in their last four Premier League fixtures, will also be out for revenge after being denied a stonewall penalty in their 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture on the opening weekend of the season.

After taking one step forward under Erik ten Hag last season, United have taken two steps back this term, and their whole campaign has been plagued by inconsistent form.

They have won just one of their last six league games and find themselves a long way off the pace in the race for Champions League qualification, so claiming all three points at Molineux is a must if they are to reignite their European hopes.
