Tottenham will look to cut the gap at the top of the Premier League when they head to Everton on Saturday lunchtime.

They’re currently eight points back but Ange Postecoglou and co must sense they have an opportunity this weekend as league leaders Liverpool visit second-place Arsenal on Sunday.

Spurs are boosted by the return of some key players – James Maddison played his part as they beat Brentford 3-2 in midweek while Pape Sarr is back from AFCON duty and could well feature.

Everton, meanwhile, need a point to rise out of the relegation zone, at least until the later games on Saturday, and have been tough to beat of late even if they are winless in the league since mid-December.

The Toffees can take some hope from the fact that Spurs captain Heung-Min Son, who bagged the decisive goal when the two teams met just before Christmas, is still absent.
