The Barcelona Open offers the chasing pack a chance to catch up in the rankings due to a depleted field this week.

Just two of the top 10 players in the world will feature in Barcelona, after Carlos Alcaraz withdrew from the tournament through injury, disappointing home fans in the process.

World No. 6 Andrey Rublev is the top seed for the event, while Casper Ruud is the next-highest ranked player at No. 10.

Monte-Carlo Masters champion Stefanos Tsitsipas will be determined to make the most of the clay-court season, as he seeks to clamber back up the rankings.

Cameron Norrie represents Britain in the draw in the singles event.
