Wondering where to find Alien Artifacts in Fortnite? Look no further!
Those pesky aliens are continuing their invasion in Fortnite, and Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 carries on, there are new Alien Artifacts available for you to track down across the map and it is the eighth week of new ones being added.
They are dotted about the map in unmarked locations and tracking them down can be tough – although it is much easier if you know where you are going. As for why you would want to find them, well you can use Alien Artifacts to unlock styles for the highly customisable Kymera skin (which comes with the latest battle pass) which makes finding them all a must.
We are now in the seventh week of Fortnite Season 7, which means you have another chance to collect some more with our location guide to the new Alien Artifacts. The Week 8 Alien Artifacts are available when the Week 8 challenges – Legendary and Epic Quests – become available today (Thursday, 29th July).
So once the Fortnite servers are back online and the latest Fortnite patch notes have dropped, there’s nothing stopping you from dropping into the map and tracking them all down – and here is where to look!
Alien Artifact Locations Fortnite Season 7 Week 8
Alien Artifact 1 – Pleasant Park
Head to the east of Pleasant Park and the artifact can be found underneath a large rock
Alien Artifact 2 – Biney Burbs
Keep your eye on the ground as the artifact is between some trees and rocks to the west of Boney Burbs.
Alien Artifact 3 – Corney Complex
Head to the IO base in the area for the third one this week and you will be able to spot it in the northwest corner.
Alien Artifact 4 – Slurpy Swamp
Make your way to Hydro 16 which is to the east of Slurpy Swamp and the artifact can be seen floating in the air.
Alien Artifact 5 – Misty Meadows
A nice easy one to finish, the fifth and final artifact is hidden under a bridge to the East of Misty Meadows.

That now takes us to a total of 40 Alien Artifacts to locate on the Fortnite map. Remember you can also get Alien Artifacts by looting them from Cosmic Chests and these can be found in Squad, Duos and Trios matches. Happy hunting!
Alien Artifact Locations Fortnite Season 7 Week 7
Alien Artifact 1 – Slurpy Swamp
You actually want to head southwest of Slurpy Swamp and when you do, keep an eye out for the base by the satellite dish that is glowing red. Inside the centre building is a bathroom and in the right-hand side stall is what you are hunting.
Alien Artifact 2 – Misty Meadows
Look for the island southeast of Misty Meadows and when you get there you will need to find a shack on the east side. On top of one of the metal beams inside the house is where you will find artifact number two.
Alien Artifact 3 – Lazy Lake
There is a grey coloured building on a bridge to the northwest of Lazy Lake and that is where the third artifact is. It is actually just under the bridge and floating in mid-air so drop off of it and you should catch it on the way down.
Alien Artifact 4 – Steamy Stacks
West of Steamy Stacks and east of Craggy Cliffs is an IO base. When you get there, just walk into the main building and you will soon spot what you are looking for.
Alien Artifact 5 – Stealthy Stronghold
You want to aim for the entrance to the sound of Stealthy Stronghold and look out for two small watchtower rooms with a gate between them. Walk into the left hand side one and that is where our fifth and final week 7 artifact will be waiting for you.
Alien Artifact Locations Fortnite Season 7 Week 6
Alien Artifact 1 – Catty Corner
There is a large snowy mountain east of Catty Corner so make your way there and you spot your shiny target inside the small blue tower at the campsite.
Alien Artifact 2 – Steel Farm
Look for the small purple area at the farm that has been invaded by aliens – south of Steamy Stacks – and the artifact is between the two trees.
Alien Artifact 3 – Corny Complex
Look for the small shed on the west side of the farm and the artifact is inside the roof.
Alien Artifact 4 – Lighthouse
Above Coral Castle in the northwest of the map is the lighthouse in question so go there and the artifact is in the small house right next to it.
Alien Artifact 5 – Orelia Island
Orelia Island is at the south tip of the main map so land or swim there and head for the broken ruins as the fifth and final artifact for this week will be inside.
Alien Artifact Locations Fortnite Season 7 Week 5
Alien Artifact 1 – Believer Beach
Look for a blue house at the southeast corner of Believer Beach and you will want to break the roof to reveal the artifact.
Alien Artifact 2 – Plesant Park
Aim for the centre and look for the small hut with no walls. Inside you will find the artifact in the ceiling.
Alien Artifact 3 – Craggy Cliffs
East of Craggy Cliffs along the shoreline is where you will need to go and the artifact can be located in front of a tree when you get to the incline.
Alien Artifact 4 – Retail Row
Look for the basketball court towards the east of Retail Row and you will see a bus stop next to it with the artifact right behind it.
Alien Artifact 5 – Misty Meadows
There is a large clock tower in Misty Meadows that overlooks the POI. Head here because the artifact is inside the roof.
Alien Artifact Locations Fortnite Season 7 Week 4
Alien Artifact 1 – Holly Hedges
Head to the middle of Holly Hedges and look for the artifact under a shelf.
Alien Artifact 2 – Weeping Woods
The second can be found near the rafters of the cabin which can be found towards the east of the Weeping Woods.
Alien Artifact 3 – Dirty Docks
Artifact 3 is in the warehouse east of Dirty Docks and you will be able to find it under the stairs.
Alien Artifact 4 – Lazy Lake
Head to the northwest corner of Lazy Lake and once there go inside the shed to find the fourth artifact.
Alien Artifact 5 – Steamy Stacks
And for the fifth, aim for the centre of Steamy Stacks and when you spit the building, the artifact will be between the pipes.
Alien Artifact Locations Fortnite Season 7 Week 3
Alien Artifact 1 – Coral Castle
Head to the top floor of the Coral Castle building, that’s the central one. The Alien Artifact location is above the stone obelisk.
Alien Artifact 2 – Craggy Cliffs
Look for the three tall garage doors near the beach, which is in the northeast corner. The location of Alien Artifact number two is on the boat suspended inside.
Alien Artifact 3 – Lockie’s Lighthouse
Make your way to Lockie’s Lighthouse and once there, look inside the small shed that is between the house and the lighthouse and you will spot it.
Alien Artifact 4 – Boney Burbs
Find the fourth Alien Artifact is in the central building here. Look in the room with the destroyed walls next to the exterior staircase.
Alien Artifact 5 – Slurp Swap
The fifth Alien Artifact is located in a building north of the factory, the main one in Slurpy Swamp. Enter the building through the door to the north. You could also use the walkway that comes from the central building.

Alien Artifact 1 – Coral Castle
Go to the cove beach at the edge of the map and you will spot the first artifact that needs to be collected.
Alien Artifact 2 – Pleasant Park
Run for the hills is a great Iron Maiden song and also where to head to in Pleasant Park for the second artifact to be found this week.
Alien Artifact 3 – Corny Complex
Find the third Alien Artifact south of the fields at Corny Complex – east of the centre of the map.
Alien Artifact 4 – Retail Row
Along the ridgeline between mountains is where you will want to head in the Retail Row area to track down the next one.
Alien Artifact 5 – Misty Meadows
And finally, you want to make your way to the Misty Meadows. The fifth and final, for this week, alien artifact can be found on the west-side island in the lake.
Alien Artifacts in Fortnite Week 1
You should find one of the Week 1 Alien Artifacts in Catty Corner, atop a big metal pole that you’ll need to build towards in order to reach.
Another Alien Artifact can be found at The Crater (where the Spire used to be), but it’s worth noting that this is quite a busy location on the map and you might run into trouble in the form of other players.
The Weeping Wood is another place where an Alien Artifact can be found, nestled among some piles of wood within a damaged building.
Believer Beach is another place to go in search of Alien Artifacts. You should be able to find one on the stairs of a mini Spire there.
And finally (for now), head over to Corny Complex, where you should be able to find an Alien Artifact in a tree-laden forest area.
