Season 11 is looking pretty, pretty, pretty good.
As we continue to live in such unpredictable times, the distinctive comedic voice of Larry David becomes ever more appreciated, which is why it’s so exciting that Curb Your Enthusiasm is returning for another season.
Indeed, the world has changed an awful lot in the 18 months or so since the previous season, although co-star Jeff Garlin has assured that the new episodes of Curb won’t be getting bogged down in COVID-19-related material.
Rather, the pandemic will be acknowledged lightly but will generally play a very limited role, allowing David to focus on getting into more farcical scrapes and making his dry musings about the absurdity of day-to-day life.
Curb Your Enthusiasm has been broadcast off-and-on for more than two decades, but Garlin has warned that the end may finally be in sight for the acclaimed series.
Speaking on The Tim Dillon Show, Garlin said he couldn’t imagine many more seasons being made due to the exhausting workload it places on David, comparing it to his own experience filming Curb and The Goldbergs simultaneously.
“It rips me apart,” Garlin said. “And the equivalent happens to Larry, cause he’s in every scene, working every day, having to be there at 6:30 in the morning.
He continued: “I don’t know if physically he can do more than, let’s say, another season. I think he could do another, I don’t know if he has two in him.”

When is Curb Your Enthusiasm season 11 on TV?
CONFIRMED: HBO has announced that Curb You Enthusiasm season 11 will premiere in October, as part of an exciting slate of returning shows that also includes Succession and Raised by Wolves.
That’s a remarkably fast turnaround from Larry David and co., especially given the complications of the COVID-19 pandemic, with fans previously waiting six years for season nine and three years for season 10.
Speaking after the show’s renewal, Larry David joked: “Believe me, I’m as upset about this as you are. One day I can only hope that HBO will come to their senses and grant me the cancellation I so richly deserve.”
Back in May 2021, co-star and producer Jeff Garlin confirmed that filming on season 11 was nearing completion, meaning the show should have no trouble hitting its target launch window.
We’ll update this page when a specific date is announced by HBO, so do keep checking back for more details.
Who will be in Curb Your Enthusiasm season 11?
Of course the legendary Larry David will be appearing in the upcoming series, most likely alongside Cheryl Hines (Cheryl David), Jeff Garlin (Jeff Greene), Susie Essman (Susie Greene) and TB Smoove (Leon Black).
We also know Richard Lewis has made a welcome return to set after undergoing three surgeries, putting his future on the show at risk.
Great news for me! Although I’m still recovering from three surgeries and missing Season 11 of Curb, LD called me and asked if there was any chance if I felt strong enough to do one episode!

Ted Danson could also reappear in the upcoming series as himself after most recently doing so in season 10.
At this point, the list of guest celebrities is unknown, however in the past Curb Your Enthusiasm has seen cameos from Lin-Manuel Miranda, Martin Scorsese, Mila Kunis, Elizabeth Banks and Isla Fisher to name just a few.

What will happen in Curb Your Enthusiasm season 11?
When we last saw Larry and the gang, Larry’s coffee shop has spawned a trend in spite stores – shops set up out of spite by celebrities who have been banned from certain stores.
However, at the end of the episode, his coffee shop is accidentally burnt down and his coffee rival purchases the house opposite him to torment him.
Will Larry rebuild his coffee shop in season 11 or will he give up his business for good, considering he only began selling coffee to spite the shop owner who banned him?

One thing we do know, is that the upcoming episodes won’t focus on the COVID pandemic.
Jeff Garlin spoke to The Ringer’s “10 Questions with Kyle Brandt” podcast about season 11, and confirmed they only have three weeks left of filming left while giving a few plot teasers.
He said: “I want to say that except for the first episode, we don’t do any COVID stuff. The first episode it touches on, there’s a couple of things. But it’s a post-COVID world in Curb.”
