Noel Fielding transforms into the infamous highwayman in the Apple TV+ comedy.
English highwayman Dick Turpin, who was certainly no laughing matter, has been reimagined for Apple TV+ comedy The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin.
Noel Fielding, best known for subversive knees-up The Mighty Boosh, stars as the eponymous criminal – who, in this rendering, is the “reluctant leader of a band of outlaws” who are “tasked with outwitting corrupt lawman and self-appointed thief-taker Jonathan Wilde”, played by Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville.
Forget fearsome. This iteration of the infamous Dick is daft, lovable and has “great hair” and “incredible cheek bones”.

When is episode 3 of The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin on Apple TV+?
The first two episodes premiered today (Friday 1st March).
You can watch the third episode from Friday 8th March, with a new episode arriving on the platform every Friday.
There are six episodes in total.
