EA Sports FC 24 is in full swing, and now so is Ultimate Team Champs, or FUT Champs for those still using the FIFA terminology.

Also known as the Weekend League, Champs is the most competitive (and rage-inducing) mode in Ultimate Team, but with the best rewards, so you can go out and buy the latest RTTK cards.

Let’s take a look at the play-off ranks, and the rewards, for both the Champions Play-Offs and the Finals. We’ll also explain how the whole thing works if you’re new to the game.

Champs EA FC 24 rewards and ranks

There are 10 matches in the Champions Play-Offs, and depending on how many points you get, there’ll be some nice rewards once you finish them. Fear not, though – even if you do terribly, the rewards will be worth it. The same goes for the Finals.

So, let’s have a look!

One notable absence from Champs rewards this year is the Red Picks, which gave players a special version of TOTW cards. EA Sports addressed the change in a Pitch Notes update, explaining it wants to make Champions rewards more relevant going deeper into the life cycle of FC 24.

Ultimate Team Champs is split into two stages: Champions Play-Offs and the Champions Finals. To secure your spot in the Play-Offs, 1250 CQP are required, which you can earn through playing Division Rivals matches.

After you’ve qualified for the Play-Offs, you’ll get seven entries each season to qualify for the Weekend League.

Champions Play-Offs

Once you’re here, it’s still about totting up those points.

You earn four points for a win, and one point for a loss in the Play-Offs. To make it to the Finals, you’ll need to earn 20 points from the 10 matches.

So you’ll need to win at least four out of 10 to earn a Finals Qualification Token.

Champions Finals

You’ve made it! But now the real challenge begins.

The points system is the same as the Play-Offs (one for a loss and four for a win), and you’ll have to complete all 20 matches before the event ends! The event starts on Friday at 8am BST, and ends on Monday at 8am.

Even if you don’t finish all the games, you’ll still be able to collect the rewards you earn – don’t worry!
