We hope you’re ‘appy.
With the full early access release of EA Sports FC 24 just around the corner, everyone’s been wondering when the EA FC 24 Web App and Companion App release date will be.
Fortunately, the Web App release date and Companion App release date has now been confirmed!
Both apps will allow you to keep track of your Ultimate Team quad whenever you like – without needing to turn the game on. Using the transfer market on the go is a great way to earn some extra coins.
Keep reading to find out when the EA FC 24 Web App release date is and when the Companion App will launch.
When is the EA FC 24 Web App and Companion App release date?
The EA FC 24 Web App release date is Wednesday 20th September. The EA FC 24 Companion App release date is Thursday 21st September, EA has revealed.
The launch dates for both apps are a little later than we initially anticipated but it’s great to finally know when they’re both releasing.
You’ll get a one-day headstart on your Ultimate Team squad if you have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game and can play with early access from 22nd September.
For everyone else, though, you get a full nine days headstart on the FC 24 Ultimate Team when the game fully launches for everyone on 29th September.
How do you get the EA FC 24 Web App?
The EA FC 24 Web App is a website that can be accessed on PC, Mac or mobile. When it goes live, you should find it on the EA Sports FC website.
The Companion App, meanwhile, is a free download application that should be found on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store when downloads are made available. It’s not to be confused with the fan app.
Both the Web App and Companion App should offer the same functionality.
What does the EA FC 24 Web App do?
The EA FC 24 Web App and Companion App should give us access to the game’s Ultimate Team Transfer Market without having to boot up our console or PC version of the game.
Thanks to both apps, we should be able to buy and sell players and consumables, style our Ultimate Team stadiums, build our squads and sign up for new events on the go.
Using the apps should be a simple way for everyone to keep up-to-date with the latest price changes in the transfer market, too.
If the new apps are anything like the FIFA 23 offerings, you should (hopefully) be able to take part in Squad Building Challenges, claim rewards from weekly competitions and even take part in online squad sharing.
You will be able to update your existing FIFA 23 Companion App to the EA FC 24 Companion app for free, too, linking to the new game’s Ultimate Team mode.
