The new series is led by Idris Elba as a risk-taking business negotiator.
New Apple TV+ thriller Hijack has landed on our screens and if the recently released episodes are anything to go by, we’re in for further edge-of-your-seat action in the fourth.
The plane hijacking is well and truly underway in the series, but as we get glimpses into each of the passengers lives and motivations, will anyone accept the task of taking this group down?
The series is not only action-packed and unguessable, but is also led by Idris Elba as Sam Nelson, a business negotiator who usually deals with major company mergers but has turned his sights to the hijacking that’s taken place on his flight from Dubai to London.
The series unfolds in real time and “follows the journey of a hijacked plane as it makes its way to London over a seven-hour flight, and authorities on the ground scramble for answers,” according to the series synopsis.
Led by Elba, the cast is also jam-packed full of familiar faces with the likes of Emmy award-winning Archie Panjabi, Christine Adams, Max Beesley, Eve Myles and more.
The series premiered on Apple TV+ last Wednesday (28th June) with two episodes, with the rest of the episodes now being released weekly.
But as the stakes of the hijack only get higher and the passengers get more terrified, will the counterterrorism team on the ground manage to help the passengers on Flight KA29? We’ll have to carry on tuning in to find out. As for when episode 4 lands, read on for everything you need to know about the release schedule for Hijack.
