The Red Devils are going to need a sharp new look to go with their recent FA Cup win.
The Man United trophy cabinet is now glittering with some new silverware after that epic FA Cup Final, and now, they’ve finally got a kit worthy of that win.
Today the club unveiled their new look for the 24/25 season – kicking off with the Community Shield match on 10th August – and it’s red hot.
This year’s kit features a variety of red shades and a new “unique glow effect” thanks to its reflective materials. This is intended to pay homage to a shirt worn by the Busby Babes in 1952 and the early years of evening games being played under the floodlights.
For the first time ever, the home kit also features a flame-like red insert running down the side panels on the shirt and shorts which, according to the press release, “creates a connecting line that stands out against the stadium backdrop as players are in motion.”

The kit has once again been made by Adidas and Sam Handy, SVP of Product and Design, said: “The colour red is consistently fundamental to the club’s DNA. There have been many different expressions of it over the years and, for 2024/25, we wanted to do something a bit different.
“We’ve drawn inspiration from a little-known shirt from the 1952 tour, which is a fantastic early example of creative design in matchwear and was worn by some of the club’s most legendary players.”
As per usual, the kits also feature the club’s official sponsors, plus a final nod to their history with a red devil sign-off on the front of the black socks.

When is the new Manchester United home kit release date?
The Man United kit will go on sale from 9am on Monday 1st July.
How much will the new Manchester United kit cost?
Man United’s new authentic home shirt costs £120 with long sleeves and £110 with short. You can also buy a replica home shirt for £85 (long sleeve) or £80 (short sleeve).
These shirts are available in men’s and women’s sizes, plus you can buy a kids shirt for £60 (long sleeve) or £55 (short sleeve).
Where can you buy the new Manchester United kit?
You will be able to buy the new Man United kit from its official sponsor Adidas, plus sporting retailers like Fanatics and Kitbag.
