Put on the mask…

Halloween is almost here, with Fortnitemares already in full swing. But when is movie icon Michael Myers joining the battle royale’s annual spooktacular?

Not to be confused with Mike Myers (groovy, baby!), fans of the Halloween film franchise will be looking forward to playing as this iconic villain.

Other available skins this season are Jack Skellington and Alan Wake, but, let’s face it, we all want John Carpenter’s creation the most.

But how does one acquire the iconic slasher skin? And when is it coming out? Let’s take a look.

When is the Michael Myers Fortnite skin release date?

Rumours around the web seem to be strongly suggesting that the Michael Myers skin will come to Fortnite on Wednesday 24th October – we’ll know at 1am BST, when the Item Shop refreshes, if that rumour is correct!

Similar rumours predicted the Jack Skellington release date with surprising accuracy, so we’ve got a good feeling about this. But still, take it with a pinch of salt unless Epic Games confirms it!

How to get the Michael Myers skin in Fortnite

To grab the Michael Myers Skin, you’ll need to purchase the right bundle. In the item shop, look for “The Shape” bundle, which should be quite prominent given the season!

As well as the skin, the bundle contains Stab-O-Lantern, Back Bling, Slasher Pickaxe, and the Myers-related Live From Haddonfield Emote. We won’t spoil the emote, but it’s pretty funny.

How much will the Michael Myers Fortnite skin cost?

If Epic provides the ability to buy the skin on its own, like they did with Jack Skellington, we’d expect the Mike Myers Fortnite skin to cost around 1,500 V-Bucks.

That’s how much Jack Skellington costs in Fortnite, after all, and we’d be surprised if there was a discrepancy between the two, to be honest.
