Johnny Sexton will miss Ireland’s clash with Italy following a groin injury sustained during their win over France.

Craig Casey and Ross Byrne will come in to make their Six Nations debuts in this one, proving the strength in depth of Ireland ahead of the weekend.

Bundee Aki and Iain Henderson are also in the side to replace Stuart McCloskey and injured Tadhg Beirne in a shuffled Irish XV.
