We’re gradually sneaking up on the Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga release date, which is a long-winded way of saying that there’s only a couple of months left to wait before this hotly-anticipated game arrives in our lives.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will retell all nine of the ‘Episode’ films in the franchise, taking us from The Phantom Menace to The Rise of Skywalker via the Original Trilogy flicks.

Some of these movies have been turned into Lego games before, of course, but they’re all being made from the ground up for this game – it’ll be very different to the previous Lego Star Wars games, then, not least because Lego games have voice acting in them nowadays.

What is Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga?

The Lego games have been popular for some time now and this looks to be a release to remember. The game comprises nine different episodes, one from each of the Skywalker movies that have been released. And if you, for example, do not fancy playing through a reminder of Attack of the Clones, then the good news is that you can play them in any order that you like – a change from previous Lego games and a very welcome one.

The Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga release date is going to be in Spring 2022, although a more precise day has not been confirmed just yet – wouldn’t the annual Star Wars Day, aka May 4th, be a great choice though? Only time will tell if that prediction is correct, but we’ll be sure to update this page as we learn more.
