A summer of love is upon us!
It’s that time of year again! That’s right, Love Island is fast approaching, with a new batch of singletons ready to find the love of their lives, along with a huge cash prize if they manage to win the show.
Fans have been treated to one serving of Love Island already this year, with an All Stars version airing back in January, which saw former Islanders return to the villa once more to find love. It was Molly Smith and Tom Clare who proved to be the winners of the series, but their reign won’t be for along as another couple will soon take that winning title!
Season 10 of Love Island saw Jess and Sammy being crowned as the winners, but they have since split up.
But now, the time has come for us to see a new cohort of islanders on our screens for a chance at finding love.
So when is Love Island back on TV? And what can viewers expect? Read on for everything we know so far about Love Island’s return.
Love Island 2024 release date speculation
An official release date hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but providing all runs as usual, we can expect the ITV2 dating show to be back on screens in early June.
Who will be cast in Love Island 2024?
The line-up for this year’s Love Island is yet to be announced, but there have been a number of rumours of who could feature in the series.
Amongst the rumoured contestants is rugby player Ciaran Davies, make-up artist Samantha Kenny and influencer Grace Jackson. We’ll be sure to keep this page updated once the official cast is announced by ITV.
Love Island 2024 host
Maya Jama took over as the host of Love Island for January 2023. So far she’s hosted three full seasons of the ITV2 dating show as well as Love Island Games, and is expected to reprise her role when the show returns.

Where is Love Island filmed?
The summer season of Love Island takes place in Mallorca, Spain. The Love Island villa is located in Spanish island’s region of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar.
The winter villa lies in the heart of South Africa’s Franschhoek wine valley.
Who won Love Island 2023?
The winter version of Love Island was won by Sanam Harrinanam and Kai Fagan.
The summer season 10 winners were revealed on Monday 31st July, with Jess Harding and Sammy Root bagging the top spot in the summer season of the show.
As for the winners of Love Island: All Stars, it was Molly Smith and Tom Clare who took home the prize.
