The brand new season of Emily in Paris arrives on Netflix this week, with Lily Collins returning to play the titular social media strategist as she navigates life in the French capital.
After leaving fans on a major cliffhanger last year, the comedy-drama’s second season will see Emily deal with the aftermath of her sleeping with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) – her chef neighbour and the ex-boyfriend of her best friend Camille (Camille Razat).
Thankfully, season two won’t be mentioning the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Collins, who recently explained that the new episodes will bring “a sense of escapism and joy and laughter in a time that we need it to the most”.
While viewers can expect their favourite characters to return for this upcoming series, from talented songstress Mindy (Ashley) to Emily’s formidable boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), the show has added a number of new stars to its impressive cast, including British actor Lucien Laviscount.

The daughter of musician Phil Collins, Lily Collins has paved out a successful acting career and is best known for starring in psychological action-thriller Abduction, fantasy adventure Mirror Mirror and the film adaptation of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
She recently acted opposite Zac Efron in dark drama Extremely, Shockingly Evil and Vile, and played Edith Tolkien, the wife of J.R.R Tolkien in biopic Tolkien.

Ashley Park plays Mindy
