Netflix is looking into one of the world’s biggest porn companies: Pornhub.
From Totally Under Control director Suzanne Hillinger, Money Shot: The Pornhub Story explores the history of the explicit video platform and goes into the moral contradictions involved in user-uploaded pornography.
Throughout the one-off film, which arrived on the streaming site on Wednesday 15th March 2023, viewers hear from a series or performers, MindGeek employees, journalists and lawyers, including porn script writer Noelle Perdue, content creator Gwen Adora and pornographic actor Asa Akira.

Along with Pornhub corporate employees and journalists, some well-known performers also feature in the film to discuss the rise of the site and its major controversies.
Who is Noelle Perdue?

Throughout the film, we also hear from former Mindgeek employee Noelle Perdue. MindGeek is is a Luxembourg-based, privately held company with Canada as its centre of operations that primarily focuses on pornography. They own Pornhub.
Noelle reportedly has a background in computer programming, but chose to pursue a career in the world of world of action pornography around 2016-2017, saying in the film that she simply Googled: “Porn script writer is that a job?” She found out it was, applied and was later hired at Mind Geek’s head office in Montreal.
She worked here for three years as either a writer, producer, talent acquirer (for Pornhub’s branch Modelhub)
Speaking in the film, she says: “Most people think Pornhub is the biggest or most visited porn site on the internet, which in terms of brand recognition is true. It’s the one people talk about when they talk about the porn industry, but MindGeek is a hilariously boring office space; gray carpet, gray cubicle, open-concept kind of thing. It was really just like wo rking at a tech company.”
It seems Noelle still works in the porn industry, but she is now a freelance writer, producer, and historian. She currently resides in her hometown of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.

Since 2012, Siri has appeared in more than 200 films. In 2015, she took a five-year hiatus from her adult film career, before returning to the screen in 2020.
