Netflix is adding to its growing list of anime and manga series live-action adaptations with One Piece, an adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s beloved manga series, which already spawned a huge franchise consisting of animated films, video games and theme parks.

And now the streaming giant has released the first-look at the series, which follows Monkey D Luffy and his trusty pirate crew on their mission to find the ultimate treasure and earn Luffy the title of Pirate King, in the form of a poster.

The official Twitter account for the series tweeted the poster on Monday (30th January), announcing that the Netflix series would “set sail” in 2023.
