Cameron Norrie clinched the title in Rio de Janeiro last year after coming back from one set down to defeat Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
Since then, Norrie has failed to reach a final on the ATP Tour, while Alcaraz has won five titles, including Wimbledon.
Alcaraz is the only top 10 player on the list to feature, with world No. 20 Norrie the second seed.
South American stars Nicolás Jarry, Francisco Cerundolo, Tomás Martín Etcheverry and Sebastian Baez will all be determined to claim the title close to home.
